16 Nudgee Road, Hamilton, Brisbane, Queensland 4007, Australia

Since 2014, when we enjoyed an excellent seafood meal here, the place has been taken over and now offers mainly Vietnamese dishes plus a basic selection of fish dishes as before, but how long this will be continued remains to be seen.
We had come for the seafood, so we ordered the cold share platter, which comprised tiger prawns, oysters, some slices of smoked salmon and a Moreton Bay Bug. It was accompanied by a small salad and chips. These were very good but felt incongruous as elsewhere, even in France you always get a bread basket with seafood platters.
The oysters were bland and the prawns only marginally less so; in contrast the Moreton Bay Bug was fresh tasting and had some flavour.
We'll return to the Breakfast Creek hotel for Bugs in future though, as after our meal I get the even stronger feeling that they would prefer to be serving only Vietnamese food but are under some obligation to continue the seafood.
