Prater 128, 1020 Wien, Austria
Another huge restaurant serving classic Austrian dishes very similar to the Schweizerhaus Link.
There was a greater variety besides the ham hock dishes, and I selected a dish of ham pieces in a lentil stew. Nick had Stelzenpfandl, the traditional ham, potato and cheese dish. Nick drank 3 large glass of red wine, while I had one white wine and 2 glasses of "Sturm", the partially fermented wine popular at wine harvest time. We were shocked by the bill of €76 - it turned out the "house" wine we had been served was €10 a glass - probably not house wine at all.
