Jászai Mari tér 3, Budapest, 1137 Hungary
A convenient cafe near the bridge to Margaret Island and just across from the northern end of the No 2 Tram line. You order and pay at the counter where you're given a number and your order is brought to you. We sat out on the street terrace to enjoy a coffee and cake each. I chose a "Bounty" slice (330HUF approx £1) which as expected contained lots of coconut, and pleasingly very little actual cake. Similarly Nick's fruit topped cream sponge (415HUF) was heavier on the cream than the sponge. He had an espresso and with the help of pictures by the coffee menu on the wall, I managed to order an iced latte. The prices were reasonable for Central Pest and the comestibles were to our liking.
