We reckoned this was the most interesting restaurant within walking distance (23 mins) of the Doubletree Hilton Link. It turned out to be a really popular Chinese restaurant that serves very good food. The whole architecture & layout indicate it used to be a pub in a previous incarnation - the night we were there it was certainly doing better than a pub would have done. We started with seaweed and soup (crab & asparagus) with prawn crackers then shared two main dishes of Sizzling beef and Duck in plum sauce, with one portion of egg fried rice. The single portion of rice was plenty for both of us. Interestingly they put only the egg white in the soup, and use the yolks alone for the fried rice, making it good and tasty. The bill of £59 included 3 glasses of wine.
